The EIJB Innovation Fund is now inviting applications for funding. The purpose of the Innovation Fund is to encourage creative and innovative ideas to tackle and progress the priorities of the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board (EIJB). The fund is looking to identify and develop new models of service delivery which may help to reduce pressures in the Health and Social Care System for adult services. The fund will be used to test and learn from new approaches and to promote collaboration across the third sector.
A prospectus has been developed to provide further information about the fund. The application process will be a two stage process which will open for applications on 28th October 2019. The first stage of the application process involves submitting a short application form outlining your innovative idea or proposal by Noon on 6 December 2019. The outcome of this stage will be made available by 20 December 2019. If successful at stage 1, the second stage requires the submission of a delivery plan for your proposal. You will also be asked to attend a funding panel discussion about your proposal where you will present your idea. The outcome of stage 2 will be made available by 28 February 2020.
